Journal of Education and Learning Mathematics Research (JELMaR) is a scholarly journal in the field of mathematics education published by the Mathematics Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Wisnuwardhana Malang. The journal publishes research articles and scholarly studies related to mathematics teaching and learning, mathematical thinking, mathematical abilities, digital technology in mathematics education, assessment and evaluation in mathematics education, and ethnomathematics.
JELMaR is published biannually (May and November), implements a Double-Blind Peer Review process, and has been accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemendiktisaintek).

Volume 7 Number 1 (Mei 2026) of the Journal of Education and Learning Mathematics Research (JELMaR) presents six articles addressing current developments in mathematics education. The studies explore students’ mathematical errors, deep learning approaches, gamification in mathematics learning, ethnomathematics, character education integration, and problem-based learning modules. This issue highlights innovative and culturally responsive approaches that support meaningful mathematics learning, problem-solving skills, and the development of twenty-first-century competencies.
